Shalaka was absolutely wonderful. He took great care of us when driving us from Colombo to Yala as well as a Colombo day tour. As a wheelchair user he was very helpful and accommodating making our trip so easy. He was great company and gave us so many great tips and taught us so much about Sri Lanka. We have just returned to the UK from 3 weeks in Sri Lanka with friends. From the very first pick up to the last, Shalaka was amazing. Shalaka has a great sense of humour and, as all Sri Lankans, a beautiful smile. When we needed a Tuk Tuk for the smaller roads it was arranged by Shalaka and they were there waiting for us. We have no hesitation in recommending Shalaka. He will enhance your holiday and save you money. You will feel very safe with him. Shalaka was personally recommended to us by a friend who had booked with him previously.  It was easy to contact him using WhatsApp and he quickly responds to messages.  He provided lots of useful information to help us book our trip. He is a lovely, friendly, reliable guy who is very knowledgeable about his country and speaks excellent English. He made great suggestions for places to see, booked visits for us, helped make dinner reservations and arranged Tuk Tuks when needed for the smaller roads and places of interest. He also is a great photographer, making sure we got the best pics possible at each location. Shalaka is a calm driver and we felt very safe with him. Ceyglow arranged a driver for 5 days of our holiday in Sri Lanka at short notice. Driver recommended was excellent. We also had the nods, Shalaka, collect us from outside Hikkaduwa and take us to airport. An excellent driver with great English, and a brilliant smoothe drive. It was awesome Sri Lanka trip! We traveled with Mr. Shalaka. He was incredible – picked us up right on time at the airport in a comfy car, everything spotless. He was so caring, always checking if we needed water or a break, super attentive to every detail. We have just completed a three-week guided tour of Sri Lanka. During the last week, we were assigned mr S as a replacement guide at the last minute. He made it a fantastic finale. He was determined to give us wonderful memories, even though it was an unexpected trip for him. In addition to the sightseeing, he added a local touch by taking us to local markets, eateries, the best shops and spontaneous stops to enjoy a delicious king coconut. We had a lot of fun with him. Thank you so much for the many pleasant chats and your explanations about Sri Lanka's history, traditions and culture. We enjoyed the fun local excursions, the pleasure of eating and hiking together in the rainforest. So proud that we overcame our aversion to leeches together and discovered the pleasure of fish foot massages.
